Mando Brand Assurance has appointed Citi Prepaid Services to provide a customised prepaid card solution for TomTom, the GPS provider.
Mando selected Citi's Prepaid solution to apply to TomTom because it sees it as offering faster payment; increasing customers' recognition of the source of rewards by removing the time lag between purchase and cheque payment; unique branding opportunities through the cards themselves and it is tied in to Tom Tom's website and other marketing collateral.

Citi expanded its Prepaid solutions offering to Europe in 2008 following the renaming of Ecount, a prepaid cards provider in the United States, acquired by Citi in 2007.  This added Ecount's experience and proprietary prepaid technology to Citi's payments platform. The expansion helped the bank to provide systems for global clients that operate across a variety of borders and currencies.
