EL SEGUNDO, Calif., May 11. Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide administrative, financial, human resources and procurement support services to approximately 20,000 NASA employees, applicants, contractors and university partners.

Anderson, president of CSC's Federal Sector Information Technology and Science Solutions division. "CSC's experience with implementing and using the shared services model will help us deliver superior results to NASA."

The state of Mississippi is contributing $23.7 million for the construction of the permanent NSSC facility at Stennis Space Center. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2005 and will be completed in October 2006. The state of Louisiana is contributing $1 million in NSSC job training funds for Louisiana residents.

Throughout the duration of the contract, CSC estimates that approximately 350 specialists with expertise in SAP finance, federal human resources, grant administration and information technology (IT) will perform alongside approximately 150 NASA employees. CSC's Information Technology and Science Solutions division will manage the work at the Stennis Space Center.

Teaming with CSC is Lockheed Martin Information Technology of Seabrook, Md., in addition to ten small or small disadvantaged firms, currently performing the same administrative functions at other existing locations. Lockheed Martin will provide finance support and some management services, as well as the interim facility at Stennis Space Center.
