The security subsidiary of the General Electric Co behind the security products known as CASI access control and integrated systems and provides various intrusion alarm systems to businesses worldwide has cut an OEM deal with Sun Microsystems Inc for its Java System Identity Management Suite.
21st April 2006 By Staff Writer GE's Security wants to go to market with a converged security line that offers protection for both computer network and building access control based on smart-card ID systems. It will combine the ID management software with its own Picture Perfect version 4 security management system to unify the management of both logical and physical access points. GE itself has deployed Sun's ID software to 450,000 users across 11 of its business units. |
