December 28,2004. EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC - News) announced today that it has been awarded an Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) as a team leader to provide technical domain advisory and assistance services to the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM).
CSC estimates the value of the award, which has a one-year base period and up to ten one-year award term options, to be approximately $500 million if all options are exercised.
Under the BPA, the company will provide systems engineering and systems analysis services to support the AMCOM. Specifically, CSC employees will support the design, development, testing, prototyping and integration of missile and aviation systems and subsystems; and provide analysis of performance effectiveness and simulation of system design for acquisition support.

More than 200 engineers, scientists and technicians from CSC's Defense Integrated Solutions & Services Division will support the work called for under the BPA, primarily in Huntsville, Ala.
In addition to CSC, 76 teammates will work under the EXPRESS BPA in support of AMCOM's mission to develop, acquire, field, and sustain aviation and missile systems to guarantee the Army's technological superiority on the battlefield.
