Stockholm, Sweden, October 11th , 2007 - Capgemini, one of the world’s leaders in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced that the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) and Capgemini Sweden intend to sign a framework agreement that will deliver strategic development and consultancy services to Skatteverket’s internal service provider, VE (Verksamhetsstöd), the Shared Service Centre that will deliver all shared services for Skatteverket including HR, Finance and Control, Facilities Management, Procurement and IT.
According to this four-year renewable agreement, Capgemini will support the development process of the Swedish Tax Agency’s (Skatteverket) and the Swedish Enforcement Authority’s (Kronofogden) operations and most importantly, strengthen Skatteverket’s strategic development projects. Capgemini will also take part in developing VE (Verksamhetsstöd), in order to increase efficiency and strengthen Skatteverket’s competencies by assisting with knowledge, experience and support of the system’s development.
