Capgemini Consulting UK appoints new director of business innovation
Rick Freeman has been appointed to the position of Director of Business Innovation for Capgemini Consulting UK, part of the Capgemini Group.
Freeman’s role in this newly created post is to help clients in all sectors to successfully navigate the new digital marketplace and understand its implications for all parts of their business. Supported by his own business innovation team and with immediate access to all Capgemini's specialist expertise in change management, consulting, technology and business information management, he will work with clients to ensure the successful planning and delivery of transformational change.
He will also deploy his expertise in recognizing key global political, economic, social and technological trends to provide Capgemini Consulting clients with insight into the factors that will shape and mould their businesses over the next 3-5 years.

This is Freeman’s third role for Capgemini Consulting since joining the company from Accenture in 2006. He successfully established Capgemini Consulting as a major force in the UK financial services marketplace 2008 - 2010. Prior to that, he led the Finance & Employee Transformation (FET) practice at Capgemini Consulting 2006 – 2007, where he doubled the size of the practice to 140 people and also doubled profitability.
A psychologist by background, Freeman’s specialism is in the leadership of organisational transformation. He is an expert in transformation and business innovation, with a proven track record in successfully delivering transformational change.
