Capgemini executive recognized as one of Consulting Magazine’s Women Leaders in Consulting

Jones joined Capgemini’s Technology Services organization six years ago to focus on the development of go-to-market solutions in the Human Capital Management space. Since then, she has worked as a key member of Capgemini’s Oracle Leadership team. While at Capgemini, Jones has been responsible for a number of complex technology projects, such as a large HR Transformation program for a manufacturing client that included a PeopleSoft Implementation, and most recently managed a successful spend management program for a large home improvement retail company.

“Clients regularly express their appreciation for Sherry’s commitment, professionalism and ability to deliver client work on time and on budget,” said David Northington, vice president, Capgemini US LLC. “Her ability to gain credibility and respect from the client, and to develop excellent working relationships with her teams is at the heart of what makes her such an effective leader.”

Jones received Capgemini's Delivery Excellence Award in 2008 for her work helping clients transform their supply chain and human resources businesses. She possesses tremendous leadership qualities that make her a sought out advisor and counsellor, mentoring the needs of over 20 counselling and project team members. She has created a collaborative and positive environment at Capgemini where team members are recognized for their dedication and accomplishment. Based on her leadership, Jones was also selected for and completed the Capgemini Women's Leadership program.

While women currently make up only about a quarter of the consulting industry, their collective impact on the profession is significant. To honor the women who are making their mark within the profession, Consulting Magazine will bring the industry together again this fall for its 3rd annual Women Leaders in Consulting awards dinner.
