Capgemini’s Infrastructure Services business in North America has signed a five-year, approximately $9.5 million agreement with Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing.
Capgemini will provide infrastructure management (IM) and managed applications support to Habitat for Humanity International, including server and storage refresh and the transfer of operational responsibility for approximately 65 percent of Habitat’s applications and the networks supporting their six domestic and five international offices.
Capgemini will leverage its global delivery model to provide leading information technology services with a standardized level of service management to Habitat for Humanity’s global locations, allowing them to boost IT service reliability and performance delivered from a refreshed infrastructure platform.
“Thanks to the collaborative relationship we’ve built with the Habitat for Humanity International team, we’ve been able to put together a cost-effective plan that will allow us to implement Capgemini’s best-in-class solutions to support their infrastructure and applications needs with efficient information technology services,” said Umesh Bhatia, North America leader, Capgemini Infrastructure Services.
