5 new partners join Ernst & Young’s EMEIA Financial Services Advisory practice
Nasir Ahmad joins the Financial Services risk team in the UK and will work primarily with major banking groups. Nasir was most recently chief risk officer at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in Switzerland.
Richard Brown joins the Financial Services Prudential, Capital and Liquidity team within risk in the UK. He previously worked for Deloitte, where he was responsible for developing the Basel II proposition, including the development of a number of tools to assist in Basel compliance, training and leadership.
Maren Hausmann joins the performance improvement team based in Germany, and has extensive experience of leading major finance transformation programmes for insurers. She was previously a partner and head of advisory insurance for KPMG in Germany.
Andrea Lannes joins Ernst & Young Germany from Lodestone Management Consulting, Germany where he was partner and managing director. Andreas will focus on building up IT Advisory, including CIO support, IT transformation and IT enablement.
Knut Schäfer also joins the German firm from EMB where he was partner for over eight years. He was one of the founders of EMB Germany and developed this start up into one of the leading Actuarial consulting practices for Non-Life Actuarial services in Germany. Knut joins the firm as a Financial Services advisory partner focused on non-life actuarial services.
