PwC appoints Chief Restructuring Advisor

Alan Lovell has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in the UK as Chief Advisor to the firm’s restructuring practice.

Lovell will be supporting PwC’s turnaround work, which includes advising on the firm’s Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) roles within businesses. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in business turnaround issues.

Lovell’s career has included Chief Executive roles in five companies, three public and two private equity. From 1990 to 2006 he was involved in challenging rescue and turnaround situations, including spells as Chief Executive of Costain, Jarvis and Dunlop Slazenger. He also brings 16 years of experience as a non-executive director in the NHS and is now on the Council of Lloyd’s and Chairman of a £35m appeal for the Mary Rose.
