Accenture customer care for BC Hydro wins industry’s top performers awards
The winning Accenture-BC Hydro customer care centre team received a number of awards including third ranked best customer care centre in the world, top five centres in North America and Mexico and a silver medal for the best medium-size contact centre. Accenture-BC Hydro customer care team also received high commendations in their category for best community spirit, and silver and bronze medals for best contact centre leader and best customer service agent respectively.
The Accenture-BC Hydro team was judged on commitment to the customer and performance, as well as incorporated innovation and applied best practices. The Accenture-BC Hydro customer care centre handles more than 5,800 customer calls daily, including all customer care queries, conservation initiatives for customers such as paperless billing and BC Hydro’s Power Smart programs.
