At the International Broadcast Convention (IBC) 2007in Amsterdam, T-Systems' Media&Broadcast will present services for international TV and radio customers in hall 1 at stand 1.279. This will include offers for broadcasting events, digital cinema, broadcasting mobile TV and film encryption solutions.
With Event Broadcast Services, the media service provider makes broadcasting major events such as the Olympics or World Championships easy. The new services offer state-of-the-art digital broadcasting processes and formats for high-definition images and multi-channel sound.
Media&Broadcast will keep visitors informed about the current trends in digital cinema. The technology is now being employed at movie theaters in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. The end-to-end solution for customers in the cinema industry supports all digital cinema processes: rights management for producers, movie distribution and film management at theaters.
Network and platform solutions for Mobile TV, include a comprehensive service offer that comprises the planning, set-up and operation of Mobile TV networks. Media&Broadcast will use projects implemented in Germany and internationally to demonstrate what ready-made solutions can look like.
In addition, the media specialist will provide visitors with information on Broadcast ICT Playout for IP-TV, on the standards DVB-S and DVB-S2 for broadcasting HDTV images via satellite and on the new IP-based applications at ATM-Broadcast Services International.
