PwC appoints Jass Sarai as new UK technology leader

PwC appointed Jass Sarai its new technology leader in the UK. Sarai is no stranger to technology, having worked in the sector for over 10 years both in the UK and the US.

Sarai commented: "The technology sector continues to be vibrant, agile and innovative against the backdrop of difficult economic conditions. The pace of change is unrelenting as companies respond to changing customer needs, exploit new opportunities and remain committed to real innovation. It is ever more important that management teams, investors, shareholders and the government support the sector in the UK.

"There are exciting times ahead in the technology world and I’m looking forward to leading the PwC team to help clients take advantage of the changing economic conditions, shifting customer behaviour patterns and technological advancements.

"PwC’s technology industry professionals deliver industry-focused assurance, tax and advisory services for technology companies - from fast-growth start-ups to multinational listed companies, bringing a unique combination of coordinated services managed by a team of experts to each and every client."

On Jass’s appointment, Barry Murphy, partner at PwC, added: "Jass’s experience in the technology industry, working with a variety of companies ranging from high growth start-ups to large multinationals, means he is ideally suited to lead the technology team at PwC and further drive growth and development for the firm in this hugely important industry sector."
