Steria takes part in the 16th annual NASSCOM 2008 India Leadership Forum from 13 to 15 February 2008 in Mumbai
Steria will be participating in the NASSCOM 2008 India Leadership Forum entitled "Shrinking the world, Riding the wave."

This world-wide event is organized by the Nasscom association and brings together CEOs, CIOs, government officials and other luminaries from around the globe. This year's debates and discussions will focus on the globalization of the IT-BPO industry and on India's role in this context.

The NASSCOM 2008 India Leadership Forum will provide François Enaud with the opportunity to speak on Steria's acquisition of Xansa, a company the majority of whose employees is based in India. He will also lay out the Steria Group's plan to place India, which is today a driver for the worldwide BPO market, at the heart of his industrialization strategy.

Two major speeches

François Enaud, Steria's Chief Executive Officer, will be participating in the session entitled "Conversations with corporate chieftains: making acquisitions work, sharing experiences," which is scheduled for 14 February from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (local times). Here, he will speak on the reasons for Steria's acquisition of Xansa and Steria's plans for India.

Bernard O'Driscoll, former Group Human Resources director for Lloyds TSB and a former Steria customer, will speak at the session scheduled for 15 February at 2:00 p.m.: "Creating sustainable change through Organizational Alignment and managing an increasingly diverse Workforce." He will be providing invaluable insight into the drivers for exploring offshore BPO as well as on the opportunities and impact of the global outsourcing phenomenon for human resources.

A dedicated blog

Throughout the forum, a blog dedicated to the Nasscom 2008 forum( ) will provide daily updates on all activities surrounding NASSCOM, including articles written by Hilary Robertson, Steria's BPO Strategy Director, and Philippe Plateau, a Senior Marketing Consultant at Steria. Marc Kobayashi-Hillary, a writer, researcher, and consultant, will also contribute as an expert on offshoring in India.

An interactive stand

The Steria stand will provide visitors with an interactive environment in which to learn more about the extended capabilities of the new Steria Group. There will also be plenty of opportunities for delegates to meet with subject experts from across our BPO and IT outsourcing teams.
